WHY IS THERE A WAITLIST FEE?

Since Covid has hit we have received so many requests for kittens! Even though it may not seem that way, there are many reasons to charge a fee to be on the waiting list. We have full-time jobs outside the home and the inquiries do take up a lot of time. That's not to say that we do not encourage questions, because we do! We want to make sure that our kitties will be the right fit for you and your home just as we want to make sure our kittens will be going to safe loving homes. Many questions are answered here on the website if you just look around.

This Waiting List deposit is to ensure:

  1. That you are serious.

  2. That you WILL notify us if you find a kitten elsewhere. It is non-refundable, but does go towards the cost of a kitten.

  3. That we are not expending time and effort that could be better used on serious inquiries rather than those that do not respond when there are kittens available.

Here is how the waitlist works:

  1. We put people on the waitlist in order of when the application is filled out and the $100 fee collected. People who are previous buyers or breeders do get put at the beginning of the list.

  2. Once kittens are born and reach the age of about 3 to 4 weeks, the waitlist is contacted in order so that they may be able to choose a kitten. Pictures and videos will be sent to help with decisions.

  3. If there is no response from someone on the waitlist after several tries, we will move on to the next person on the list.

  4. If another litter is born and someone does not reply after our attempts to contact them from last litter to this litter, they will be removed from the list. We do attempt to contact people through email plus any other social media in which we have spoken.

  5. If you have to pass on a litter, please let us know. We understand if you are unable to take a kitten at a certain time. Life can change for all of us and sometimes adding a cute kitty to your home may not work due to unforeseen family issues.

  6. You are able to pass on a litter if there is not the right color, gender, or you just aren't feeling the right fit for you, but we will take your name off the list after a year of rejections as we really don't have that many females, so not that many litters a year.

  7. We will not overbreed, so the waiting list may take a while before kittens are available.

After someone has chosen the kitten they want, a contract will be emailed, needing filled out, signed, and returned, and then a $400 deposit is required to hold the kitten of their choice. Then the balance, minus the waitlist and deposit, is due on delivery. Shipping/delivery fees are extra.
